Enough is enough

I just did the unthinkable
I texted Josh, and told him I loved him.
I told him that I need to move on,
and I can't without saying it,
so there it is, I just wanted him to know.

I'm sure I just sealed the fate
of our friendship... and I'm ok with that,
I really do need to move on.
I have someone here, who is interested in me
and why should I continue to waste my life
waiting for someone, who isn't?

It would be to hard to remain Josh's friend
and even harder to date anyone,
without him knowing....
so it's all out in the open now
in a short sweet text,
so he can't say he didn't get it
or didn't read it.....

And you know what...
I thought I'd feel something....
but I never thought it would be relive
and that is exactly what I feel right now
