The past few days
I've really come to appreciate
friends who listen to me,
not just sit there and wait
for their turn to talk.
I never thought it would
really matter that much,
but it does. I have also come
to appreciate friends
who not only listen,
but don't pity me
- at least not to
my face, anyway.
