More than life

I wish. I wish... Do I know what I wish?
Am I certain what I wish is what I want?
No. I guess I don't. But I have a saying
that is helping to guide my life right now.
Not a saying really... just an ultimate goal I guess.
To have a positive impact on the lives of others.
Someone once told me I have shining eyes.
Do you see it? I can see it in some people.
It's not necessarily a happiness.
But I read people's eyes when they sparkle.
Sometimes it's an innocence.
Sometimes it's a desperation.
But I can see it.
It's just a whole emotion
that needs to be released.
Eventually it must be released.
I wish so much right now.
But is it selfish of me?
A lot of what I wish is selfish.
But isn't everyone?
That is why my ultimate want
is something I thought
was completely selfless.
Making a postive impact on others.
But really, I do it for myself too...
because it gives me such a good feeling.
I could float on air at times.
I have gotten to know some people
really well in my life.

Not ordinary people though.
I sound crazy, because
I have studied these characters.
And they are only characters,
not people, but for me,
no matter how close I get to them,
it is only an illusion.
For the characters it is a reality.
I understand that no matter how well
I think I know someone,
I can't really know them.
No one can.
It is impossible to comprehend
someone else's motivations and feelings.
But I think it is very important to try.
To love someone for who they are,
even without knowing them,
is one of the best feelings
in the human experience.
